Established in 2002, Parry School is a school for specific purposes for students in Years 7–12 who present with complex behavioural challenges and emotional needs. Our school provides additional support for students to re-engage with learning and achieve positive academic, social and emotional outcomes.

We are proud to be recognised as a Centre for Best Practice, celebrated for our innovative, student-centred programs that focus on re-engagement, wellbeing, and personal growth. Parry has recently received multiple awards acknowledging our success in supporting some of the region’s most vulnerable young people and helping them build successful futures.

At Parry, we place a strong emphasis on restorative practices, trauma-informed teaching, and individualised learning. Our students are supported through a wraparound model involving school counsellors, wellbeing professionals, school learning support officers, and external agencies such as psychologists, Headspace, and Family and Community Services.

We provide a structured, supportive, and predictable learning environment that balances academic learning with social-emotional development. With small class sizes and highly trained staff, we foster respectful relationships, consistent routines, and high expectations for both behaviour and achievement.

Our school supports approximately 21–27 students across four distinct learning spaces:

At Parry School, we are committed to inclusion, equity, and empowerment. We work closely with students to rebuild their trust and confidence in education, helping them develop the academic, behavioural, and social skills needed for a successful future.
